Hugo Souza trains with shoulder support, still a doubt for Corinthians

On the morning of this Friday, the 31st, the Corinthians men's professional football squad took to the field to train with an eye on Grêmio. One of the standouts in the ball training session was goalkeeper Hugo Souza, who wore a shoulder brace during his recovery and, for this reason, remains a doubt for the next round.

After the match against Atlético-MG, the goalkeeper had to miss the game against Vitória, giving Felipe Longo the chance to play and secure the three points. The number 1 continues to make progress in his recovery, aiming to strengthen Corinthians and also looking forward to the next call-up to the Brazilian National Team.

If Hugo Souza does not recover 100% in time to face Grêmio in the Brasileirão, the coaching staff is expected to continue with Felipe Longo. The "Son of Terrão" has already played against Santos and Vitória, both away games, and could make his debut at Neo Química Arena.

After two consecutive victories, Corinthians is looking to keep up a good streak and stay at the top of the table. The match against Grêmio takes place on Sunday, November 2nd, starting at 4pm (Brasília time), in Itaquera. In addition to the likely absence of Hugo Souza, Breno Bidon, Raniele, and José Martínez are confirmed absences.
