Iñaki Williams returns to Ghana squad for Austria and Germany friendlies | OneFootball

Iñaki Williams has been recalled by Ghana after missing October and November with a muscle injury. According to as.com, he is among the LaLiga contingent named by Otto Addo for friendlies against Austria and Germany later this month.

Williams has not featured for the Black Stars since eight September 2025, an 11-minute outing against Mali in a World Cup qualifier that Ghana won 1-0.

Addo has also named fellow LaLiga players Thomas Partey, of Villarreal, and Kwasi Sibo, of Oviedo. First call-ups go to Derrick Luckassen (Pafos), Patrick Pfeiffer (Darmstadt 98), Marvin Senaya (Auxerre) and Daniel Agyei (Kocaelispor).

Ghana visit Austria in Vienna on Friday 27, then face Germany in Stuttgart on Monday 30.

These are a pair of final warm-ups for this summer’s World Cup. Williams hopes to make the tournament in Canada, United States and Mexico, and to join his brother Nico, who is with Spain.
