Leeds United finally ended a four-game losing streak with a 3-1 win over Chelsea at Elland Road, giving fans some much-needed relief.
The hosts dominated the first half, with goals from Jaka Bijol and Ao Tanaka putting them firmly in control.
Bijol, the towering centre-back, got Leeds off the mark with a thumping header from a corner - his first goal for the club.
A neat little footnote: he’s only the fourth Slovenian to score in the Premier League, joining Robert Koren, Jon Gorenc Stankovic, and Benjamin Sesko.
Japan international Ao Tanaka also opened his Premier League account in the same match, becoming the 12th Japanese player to score in England.
