Brentford have replaced Mark Flekken with the signing of Caoimhin Kelleher from Liverpool.
Flekken's departure for Bayer Leverkusen was announced early today with the Bees now having announced the arrival of their new shot stopper for an initial £12.5 million.
The 26-year-old has signed a five-year contract with the club until 2030 with Brentford also having the option to extend that by a further season.
"Caoimhin is a young keeper full of talent who has already proven how he can perform in the Premier league as well as Europe," said Bees goalkeeping coach Manu Sotelo about the transfer.
"He is calm and obsessed with improving. His best quality is his agility and he is a clever goalkeeper, with positioning and awareness being key elements of his game.
"With us, I’m confident he will achieve the next level in terms of performance and show the potential he has."
In total, Kelleher played 67 times for Liverpool while lifting the UEFA Champions League, UEFA Super Cup, Premier League, FA Cup, as well as the League Cup twice.
