Leeds United are preparing a new move to sign Axel Disasi from Chelsea after missing out on the centre-back in January.
Leeds were beaten to the defender’s signature by West Ham in the winter window, who signed Disasi on loan for the remainder of the campaign.
Despite difficult circumstances, the Frenchman has impressed during his loan at the London Stadium, though West Ham’s precarious position means a permanent move is up in the air.
The Hammers are currently in the relegation places and could be four points from safety, with two games to go, if Spurs beat Leeds tonight.
Should West Ham be relegated, Football Insider are reporting that Leeds are ready to ‘pounce’. Daniel Farke wants to bring in another physical presence at the heart of his defence with Disasi a long-term target.
Chelsea are ready to sanction his permanent sale with Disasi having been frozen out at Stamford Bridge, prior to his loan at West Ham.
