West Ham are lining up a new centre back with Nayef Aguerd linked with an exit.
The Moroccan international is being linked with an exit from east London once again, with Marseille understood to be readying an offer to sign the defender.
It’s well documented that Aguerd has been keen to leave the club and even the Premier League altogether for some time.
The player’s performances this season have done little to convince that he’s someone who we can’t afford to lose. In fact, it’s clear his heart isn’t quite in what is needed here at West Ham.
We now understand that West Ham are looking to move for Charlie Cresswell of Toulouse and Taylor Harwood-Bellis of Southampton should a deal be struck to see Aguerd leave.
We also believe that Tomas Soucek is set to remain, despite a late move in the window from Everton.
A return bid from the Toffees and David Moyes is expected, however he’s seen as too important under Graham Potter to allow to be sold.
