One Liverpool star has been labelled 'lazy' after a shocking display for his loan team. The Reds will welcome him back, however.
Kostas Tsimikas took a chance in the summer when he decided to head out to AS Roma on loan. The Greek left-back had permanent options available to him but decided to take the temporary exit.
Now, Roma are a big club that will natural attract players. At the same time, Tsimikas has no clear future at Liverpool after Milos Kerkez signed from Bournemouth.
The sensible move to us felt like joining a club permanently - one inclined to put their full faith in him. Instead, Tsimikas may be cast aside in Italy, putting his career in a difficult spot.
That's because the left-back is struggling right now. He got a rare start at the weekend as Roma travelled to Sassuolo but Tsimikas was hooked on 46 minutes.

Even worse were the reviews of his performance. Il Romanista labelled him 'lazy' for his runs and crosses. Siamo la Roma said he offered little reliability in the team.
If things continue to go this way, Liverpool may need to think about recalling the player in January and trying something else.
Liverpool's left-back position is an absolute mess right now and Tsimikas's struggles are the least of it. Kerkez simply hasn't worked out thus far, looking way off it in terms of the top level.
He's starting regularly over Andy Robertson, who is firmly a squad player this season. That's despite the fact that all stats point to a positive difference when the Scot is in the team.
