A big victory for Inter at San Siro against Fiorentina: a convincing 3-0 decided entirely in the second half. Under the rain and in a scorching hot stadium, Chivu's side dominated right from the start, rarely seemed to be in trouble, and were only held off by an incredible De Gea, who produced a series of brilliant saves.
Inter came alive in the second half, settling the game in just five minutes after forcing more incredible saves from the Spanish goalkeeper. Calhanoglu ended the deadlock with a powerful strike from outside the box in the 67th minute. San Siro erupted just four minutes later when Sucic came through with a great dribble in the area before slotting it home. Beautiful play from the Croatian to make 2-0. Later, Bonny was brought down in the box by Viti, who was already booked, and was eventually sent off. From the spot, Calhanoglu was clinical in making it 3-0 and securing three well-deserved points, giving them a total of 18.
Inter bounced back in commanding fashion, beating Fiorentina 3-0 at San Siro. The visitors' dogged resistance was finally broken in the second half. A rocket from Calhanoglu opened the scoring, before Sucic produced a moment of magic and the Turkish midfielder bagged his second of the evening with a perfectly taken penalty.
