The center-forward position is one area of the team that FC Barcelona might have to address in the near future. As things stand, the Blaugranes have Robert Lewandowski and Ferran Torres competing for a starting spot in this position, but with the Pole’s advancing age, they might have to add another top-class forward to their team.

In fact, several interesting players have already been linked with the Catalan club for this role. However, among these names, the Barcelona midfielder Marc Bernal had a clear favorite whom he wanted to see in his team.

As SPORT has reported, the young midfielder appeared in an interview with Diari ARA, and in this interview, he faced a quick-fire test, in which one of the questions he was asked was about a player whom he wanted to see in his Barcelona team. To this, the Spaniard had a clear answer: the Atletico Madrid forward Julian Alvarez.

Ever since joining the Colchoneros from Manchester City, the Argentine has been playing at a very high level, and has frequently been linked with Barcelona.

There is no doubt that he would be a very good addition to this Blaugrana squad, but it remains to be seen whether the stars will ever align for him to don the blue and garnet jersey.
