José Mourinho, Benfica’s coach, spoke after the 0-0 draw against FC Porto, regarding the 8th round of the Primeira Liga.

Match analysis: “Before, the situation was complicated. We couldn’t leave here seven points behind, we wanted to leave just one point behind. But as I just told the players, neither I on the bench felt in a position to take risks to win, nor did they feel that way—they felt the game was under control and well managed, and that we couldn’t lose. They could lose. From a motivational standpoint, they’re coming off a fantastic run of results, and we’re in a tough phase.
