Nantes set to sign former Strasbourg midfielder Ibrahima Sissoko | OneFootball

FC Nantes are desperate to strengthen this January in a bid to stave off relegation. The club have already completed a deal to sign Rémy Cabella. Whilst the move has not been made official, local media have reported that the former Lille OSC and Newcastle United forward is already training with the club. 

An agreement has also been reached to sign former Toulouse FC forward Zakaria Aboukhlal, who has struggled for minutes since moving to Torino over the summer. The Moroccan is expected to sign on a loan dela.

But Les Canaris won’t stop there. Further signings are expected and the next to come through the door could be Ibrahima Sissoko (28). The former RC Strasbourg Alsace midfielder could make the move to the Beaujoire in a €2m deal, L’Équipe reports.

Sissoko, currently at the AFCON with Mali, plays his club footballin Germany’s second tier with Bochum. An agreement between the clubs has already been reached and so the former Strasbourg player is now all set for a return to France.
