According to Diario Do Peixe, the group that owns Nottingham Forest are expected to submit a bid to Santos for teenage forward Nadson, with an offer around €5m. The proposal has not yet been lodged formally, and Santos anticipate rejecting it, believing the academy product could be worth up to four times more.

The ownership group is led by Vangelis Marinakis and also controls Rio Ave in Portugal and Olympiacos in Greece.

Santos plan to move the 17-year-old into first-team training to prepare him for the future. He turned 17 on Saturday and can only move abroad once he reaches 18.

He signed his first professional contract with Santos last year, with the deal running until 23 January 2028.

After featuring in the Copinha, he took part in first-team sessions under head coach Juan Pablo Vojvoda. He has been at Santos since 2019, rising through the youth ranks, and last year was the club’s youngest player registered for the Copinha.
