Real Madrid will begin their UEFA Champions League journey in the new season against Olympique de Marseille at the Santiago Bernabeu on Tuesday night.
It will mark Xabi Alonso’s first game as the Real Madrid manager in the Champions League, and ahead of the contest, he has now announced the squad list of players called up to face the Ligue 1 giants.
In a huge boost, Real Madrid have recovered two injured midfielders – Jude Bellingham and Eduardo Camavinga – for the game.
Both players had not featured at all this season, with Camavinga even not playing at the FIFA Club World Cup due to injury woes. The pair, though, have been training with the squad over the past week and have received the green light to return for tomorrow’s game.
Endrick, who has also been training with the group, has not been called up, however, while Ferland Mendy and Antonio Rudiger both remain unavailable.
New signings Dean Huijsen, Trent Alexander-Arnold, Alvaro Carreras, and Franco Mastantuono have all been included in the squad.
