Oliver Glasner handed major boost as Nottingham Forest tie Ibrahim Sangare to 2029 deal

Nottingham Forest have tied Ibrahim Sangare to a new contract running to 2029, handing new head coach Oliver Glasner a major boost.
According to Nottingham Post, the Ivory Coast international has agreed terms at the City Ground, extending a spell that already spans three years.
Sangare expressed delight at committing his future and thanked supporters, acknowledging last season was not always easy but that he always felt their backing. He described Forest as a family. He feels good, has learned a lot, and is eager to work with the new coach when the season begins.
The club’s chief football officer, George Syrianos, noted Sangare arrived with top-level European experience and has continued to progress on and off the pitch. He called Sangare an important presence, respected by team-mates and well aware of what it means to represent Forest.
Syrianos welcomed the agreement as a reward for Sangare’s ongoing influence and quality, adding that the player shares the ambition to keep the club moving forward.
