Lazio confirmed that the club has a new eagle, with an image posted on social media last night revealing the club’s new bird.
It has been almost a year since the departure of the Biancocelesti’s last eagle, Olympia, when the club’s former handler, Juan Bernabé, was fired after sharing images of a genital implant on his private social media, before soon after starting an OnlyFans account.

This means that Biancocelesti fans can expect to see an eagle fly around the Stadio Olimpico prior to kick-off once more, after roughly a year without.

It has been tradition at the Olimpico for years to have the eagle fly before the game and it is great news for the club, after an unfortunate end to the last cycle.
The Biancocelesti’s next home game is at the Olimpico on Sunday, as Maurizio Sarri’s side host Lecce in what is an important opportunity for the Roman club to climb up the table.
The club currently sit in 9th place after an inconsistent start to the campaign, but one that has seen mild improvement over the last month, especially in terms of increased defensive performance.
