Charlton Athletic will aim to get back on track after their pre-international break defeat when they face Millwall at The Valley in Saturday’s Championship clash.
Both teams have four games under their belts. Charlton, in 16th, sit on four points following a 3-1 loss to QPR on 30 August, while Millwall are 12th with six points.
Stuart Court (Cafc Facts and Stats): This fixture has been a running nightmare for Charlton fans. No wins in their last 12 games, no goals scored in the last 5 home games and the last win back in March 1996.
The joke is we could have Ronaldo and Messi up top and we still would not get 3 points.
However the team has been playing well so far this season and if they show that type of form on Saturday then they stand a chance.
Over 23,000 tickets sold so the crowd are currently looking forward to it but will they finally deliver.
Heart says please but this is a Charlton v Millwall game.
Prove me wrong and get that win.
