Paris Saint-Germain hope to have Senny Mayulu (19) fit to face RC Strasbourg Alsace upon the return from the international break. It comes after the Titi Parisien was ruled out of France’s U21 camp through injury.

The PSG academy product was also present on Monday in order to join up with France U21 side. He too showed signs of a thigh injury, having come off just before the hour mark during Sunday night’s draw against Lille OSC.

A press release from the FFF confirmed the injury, and so Mayulu headed away from Clairefontaine on Monday evening. Les Bleuets manager, Gérald Baticle, ensured that Les Parisiens had not applied any pressure on the federation amid poor relations between the Ligue 1 side and the national team set-up.

However, Mayulu’s recovery could be swift. L’Équipe understands that the midfielder could be fit to face Strasbourg on Friday 17th October; that is PSG’s hope, in any case.
