PSG land a windfall by reaching the Champions League semis

Paris Saint-Germain won 0-2 against Liverpool this Tuesday at Anfield in the second leg of the 2025-2026 Champions League quarter-finals. After this victory, PSG secured its place in the semi-finals (April 28 and May 6) against Bayern Munich, of course, but also a nice additional sum. L’Equipe reports that 15 million euros have been added to Paris’ earnings in the competition this season.

A place in the last four of the Champions League indeed means an additional €15 million check for the reigning European champion. A sum that is added to the €106.8 million already accumulated by PSG since the start of the league phase, which they finished in 11th place.

This is clearly far from negligible for the club, with a nice extra share of the spoils to strengthen itself for what lies ahead. That applies to the transfer market, but not only that. There are other investments as well (training center, stadium, etc.). There is never too much money in the coffers. That alone is not enough to stay at the highest level, but it is obviously an asset.
