Paris Saint-Germain won their maiden UEFA Champions League title last season, and as the club progress to the semi-finals of this year’s edition, Joao Neves said that he believes that they are repeating the feat… multiple times.

After getting to the final of the competition back in 2020, coming short against Bayern Munich, PSG finally won their “Holy Grail”, beating Inter Milan (5-0) in Munich last summer. Despite failing to finish in the top eight during this season’s ‘League Phase’ and then struggling to overcome AS Monaco in their play-off, they have now come into their own, beating Chelsea and now Liverpool. 

Les Parisiens will face either Bayern Munich or Real Madrid in the semi-finals. Speaking after Tuesday’s win over Liverpool at Anfield, Neves said that he sees a bright future for the Ligue 1 club. “PSG have a very good project. It is my second semi-final in two years. I am proud of this team. For me, PSG are still growing, and I think that the club will win multiple Champions League titles,” said the Portuguese midfielder in a post-match mixed zone interview attended by Get French Football News.
