Former Real Madrid prodigy Chema Andres has been one of the best-performing young midfielders in the Bundesliga this season.
After joining Stuttgart in a €3 million deal, Chema has emerged as a key midfield component in the team, impressing onlookers with his organisation and ability to control the tempo in the middle of the park.
Chema’s performances have not gone unnoticed either, with many expecting him to end the season as one of the Bundesliga’s best rookies.
According to MARCA, Real Madrid have an option to re-sign Chema for just €13 million next summer thanks to a buyback clause that was embedded in his contract.
The Spanish giants can sign him in the summer of 2027 as well, though the value of the buyback clause will rise to €15 million.

This could prove to be a lifesaver for a Real Madrid side looking to beef up their options in the midfield unit, especially now that Toni Kroos and Luka Modric are no longer with the team.
Real Madrid are particularly keen on signing a new defensive midfielder, with Crystal Palace star Adam Wharton emerging as a potential option.
Chema, though, can be an excellent cost-effective alternative or perhaps even an addition. The young Spaniard has shown a lot of promise in the holding midfield role this season and could thrive in a similar role under Xabi Alonso.
Real Madrid, for their part, are very pleased with Chema’s progress in the first few months at Stuttgart.
He is expected to be closely monitored by the club, who also have an option to sign another former youth prodigy next summer in the form of Nico Paz.
However, it must be noted that Real Madrid will not make any decision on Chema’s future until the end of the season.
