After a summer transfer window that went almost perfectly for Real Madrid, the Spanish giants are already setting their sights on the next big phase of their project.

According to a report from Fichajes, the club is preparing a monumental €250 million investment for 2026, targeting two major signings who could transform their midfield and attack for the long term.

At the top of Madrid’s wishlist sits Declan Rice, the Arsenal and England international who has become one of the most influential midfielders since joining the Gunners from West Ham United

Rice has established himself as a natural leader under Mikel Arteta, bringing strength, composure, and tactical intelligence to the heart of their system.

However, Real Madrid’s interest could shift the balance. The report claims that Los Blancos are ready to offer up to €150 million for his signature, a figure that would eclipse what Arsenal paid for him.

Then there is Barcola

The second player on Madrid’s radar is Bradley Barcola, the 23-year-old forward who has been one of Paris Saint-Germain’s breakout stars in Ligue 1.

Blessed with pace, flair, and impressive maturity for his age, Barcola has become a standout performer under Luis Enrique.

Scouts at Real Madrid see him as a future-defining talent, someone capable of adding dynamism and unpredictability to the attack.

The club is reportedly willing to spend around €100 million to bring him to the Santiago Bernabéu.

At Valdebebas, the feeling is that Barcola could fill the gap should Rodrygo decide to leave in the coming years.

However, PSG are not expected to let him go easily. The French side consider Barcola a cornerstone of their long-term project and have no immediate plans to negotiate his exit.
