The club hierarchy feels that Huijsen is finally playing the level of football that prompted his high-profile move from Bournemouth in the Premier League.

After a period where his impact began to fade due to occasional defensive lapses and persistent physical niggles, the young defender has successfully navigated a difficult adaptation process.
