Club Brugge reportedly believe that Inter Milan will activate a buy-back clause to bring talented midfielder Aleksandar Stankovic back to San Siro.
According to FCInter1908, the Belgian giants are confident the Nerazzurri will exercise their option as the youngster continues to shine.
Unlike Francesco Pio Esposito, Inter decided to part with the Serbian starlet during the summer transfer window.
Brugge signed Aleksandar Stankovic for a reported fee of €10 million in the summer.
However, aware of the youngster’s potential, Inter included a buy-back clause, leaving the door open for Stankovic’s return.
Indeed, the Nerazzurri can re-sign the 20-year-old for €23 million at the end of the season.

Even if the Italian heavyweights refuse to trigger the clause next summer, they would still have a chance to bring Stankovic back.
Yet, it would take around €25 million to secure his return in the summer of 2027.
Meanwhile, the prodigious midfielder has hit the ground running in Belgium.
Indeed, he has already racked up 11 appearances in all competitions, including six in the Jupiler Pro League.
