Etta Eyong has been one of the standout revelations of the current campaign. The Levante forward has scored six goals in 12 matches and has become the team’s main hope for securing top-flight survival.
Only Kylian Mbappe, Robert Lewandowski, and Julian Alvarez have managed to score more goals in the Spanish top flight this season.
Naturally, Eyong’s performances have seen him attract strong interest, with Real Madrid among the clubs keeping tabs on the Cameroonian centre-forward.
Now, according to GiveMeSport (h/t SPORT), Levante have rejected a €30 million offer from CSKA Moscow for Etta Eyong. The player himself was not interested in leaving for Russia, aware of the level of interest he is generating in Europe’s top leagues.
After all, apart from Real Madrid, the 22-year-old is also a top target for FC Barcelona, while several Premier League clubs are also closely monitoring his situation at Levante.

Jose Danvila, Levante’s majority shareholder, stated a few days ago that the club receives offers for the forward on a daily basis but have no intention of selling him during the winter window. However, he did not rule out reconsidering the situation once the season ends.
Considering that Real Madrid already have Kylian Mbappe, Gonzalo Garcia, and Endrick on their books, it does appear unlikely that a move will be made for Eyong anytime soon, unless one of their current strikers ends up leaving.
Even though Endrick is headed to Olympique Lyon in January, it will only be on loan, with the Brazilian expected to return to the Santiago Bernabeu at the end of the season.
Meanwhile, Barcelona have Eyong on their shortlist as a potential replacement for Robert Lewandowski once his contract expires. Arsenal, too, have shown a strong interest. As such, the striker could end up at either of those clubs.
