Serie A clubs have been hesitant to place their trust in emerging talents.

Indeed, no team has given youngsters more than 10% of total minutes over the past five calendar years.

Furthermore, Inter are among the sides that gave the least playing time to U21 players.

However, Francesco Pio Esposito has been a rare exception, with the teenager striker becoming one of Cristian Chivu’s key first-team elements.

Only two Serie A youngsters boast a higher market value than Pio Esposito.

Indeed, one of them is Juventus talisman Kenan Yildiz, whose estimated worth is around €75 million.

Meanwhile, Como rising star Nico Paz ranks second.

Even though Real Madrid can re-sign the 21-year-old for as little as €9 million, his current market value stands at a whopping €65 million.

Then, Esposito sits third on this list, with the Nerazzurri center-forward’s worth pegged at approximately €45 million.

Despite drawing interest from Arsenal, Esposito is the future of the San Siro club.
