To strengthen their left flank, Roma reportedly considered Filip Kostic, a Serbian winger currently playing for Juventus, last summer.

The veteran player earned the trust of the Bianconeri, despite several transfer market rumors in the previous weeks.

His stay was strongly supported by manager Igor Tudor, who never pushed for his departure; on the contrary, he has always considered the player a reliable player capable of delivering strong performances.

Today, Kostic is considered by Juventus and the manager as a solid and highly experienced alternative on the left flank.

According to Tuttosport, Juventus initially rejected Fenerbahce’s offer to transfer the Serbian, with José Mourinho reportedly wanting to keep him before his dismissal.

Subsequently, other Italian clubs, including Atalanta and Roma, expressed interest in Kostic, but Juventus also rejected all of their offers.
