Inter Milan are reportedly reluctant to pull the plug on their pursuit of PSV EIndhoven veteran Ivan Perisic. 

According to Corriere della Sera via FCInter1908, there’s still a chance for the Nerazzurri to bring the 36-year-old back to San Siro.

Ivan Perisic spent seven years in Milan, wearing the Inter jersey between 2015 and 2022 before joining Tottenham Hotspur.

Fast forward four years, Inter are keen to reunite with the versatile winger to replace the injured Denzel Dumfries.

However, PSV have no intention of selling their star.

With Perisic racking up five goals and ten assists this season, it’s no wonder that the Peasants are unwilling to cut him loose midway through the campaign.

However, a potential Champions League elimination could change their mind and boost Inter’s hopes of re-signing the Croatian ace.

Last night’s 3-0 defeat at Newcastle United left PSV perilously close to the drop zone.
