The winter transfer window is upon us, and Roma are looking for the right players to complete their squad.
Massara is not just looking for opportunities in attack, but also in various areas.
As reported by Il Corriere della Sera, one of the latest ideas Massara has forwarded to Gasperini is a defender: Aurelè Amenda, a 2003-born Swiss defender from Eintracht Frankfurt.
The center-back has reportedly been proposed to Roma by Giuffrida, the same agent who is pushing Gudmundsson to Trigoria.
The club would like to please Gasperini in the next transfer window by gifting the coach three key additions: a center-forward, a second striker (right-footed), and a central defender who would act as Ndicka’s backup.
Amenda and Gundmundsson, however, are on standby; the priority right now is to sign the striker, given that Roma have the thirteenth-best attack in the league with only 15 goals scored so far this season.
Amenda, however, remains an unknown quantity: the Swiss is young like Ziolkowski and Ghilardi, while Gasperini is looking for a more experienced player so as not to have to wean the third defender as well.
