Man Utd head to the Elland Road on Sunday on the back of a disappointing draw with Wolves, but can move level on points with Liverpool - albeit potentially for a couple of hours - in the Premier League table.

However, Amorim looks set to choose from the same squad that were held by Wolves at Old Trafford on Tuesday night, a result that saw the side booed off at the final whistle.

“We are going [with] no [fresh] issues, no different issues,” Amorim said the pre-match press conference on Friday.

“We’re going to see tomorrow, we have one more training. I don’t think so, that anyone is going to recover, but we'll see.”

This means the clash against Leeds comes too soon for captain Bruno Fernandes, Kobbie Mainoo, Mason Mount and defensive pair Harry Maguire and Matthijs de Ligt.

Furthermore, United will be without Amad Diallo, Bryan Mbeumo and Noussair Mazraoui as the trio are still away on Africa Cup of Nations duty with their respective nations.

Sunday’s game will be Amorim’s first experience of the rivalry between Man United and Leeds, though he already understands how important a victory is.

"I heard it is a big derby and a great environment,” he said. “A big rival. Every game in the Premier League is tough for us.

“I know that it means so much to the fans but we need to go there and try to win."
