Santos have promoted Vinicius Marques from the Under-20s to first-team assistant, prompting wholesale changes across the academy. According to Diario Do Peixe, the reshuffle follows a request from the senior football department.
Marques arrived with Cleber Xavier’s staff in 2025 and, after Xavier’s departure, was retained and moved to lead the Under-20s. He began with an unbeaten run and lifted the Paulista Under-20 title. In the Copinha and the Under-20 Brasileiro, his only defeats came against Cruzeiro.
With the Under-20 competitions resuming in April, the Meninos da Vila will have time to adjust. Marques now works alongside head coach Cuca, assistant Cuquinha and fitness coach Omar Feitosa. He led a first-team training session before Cuca’s arrival.
Elder Campos steps up to take the Under-20s, assisted by Matheus Vazquez and Marcos Bazílio. Luciano Santos takes the Under-17s, with Axel as his assistant. Axel leads the Under-16s, with Pedro Felipe as assistant.
Fabrico Monte remains in charge of the Under-15s. Índio leads the Under-14s with Felipe Mendes assisting, and Edu Martins heads the Under-13s with Mendes again as his deputy. Rodrigo Cabral, recently back at the club, coaches the Under-12s, while Douglas leads the Under-11s.
