The 22 dugouts for the 2026/27 Segunda División are set, with nine clubs changing head coach. According to El Periódico Mediterráneo, Pablo Hernández remains in the Castellón job through 2029 and the remaining posts have now been filled.

The three relegated sides have each made a change, with Luis García Fernández taking Mallorca, Julián Calero joining Real Oviedo and Girona turning to Quique Álvarez to lead their push back to Primera División.

The four promoted clubs from Primera Federación have kept faith with their managers.

Among last season's second-tier clubs, Burgos and Eibar saw Luis Miguel Ramis and Beñat San José depart for top-flight jobs. Burgos appointed Sergio Francisco, dismissed by Real Sociedad in December, while Eibar chose Jokin Aranbarri, who spent five seasons in their academy and has led Athletic Club's B team for the past two campaigns.

Promotion-chasing projects also sparked changes at Las Palmas and Almería, who dispensed with Luis García, now at Mallorca, and Rubi. Almería hired Francisco Javier García Pimienta, who has top-flight experience and a past promotion, while Las Palmas opted for Rubén de la Barrera after he could not prevent Cultural Leonesa's relegation last season.

The final switches came at Leganés and Sporting, who were unconvinced by previous regimes. Those roles now go to Rubén Albés at CD Leganés and Nicolás Larcamón at Real Sporting de Gijón.
