Chelsea could yet find some positives in selling Enzo Fernandez this summer, but we’ll have to wait and see what happens.

Chelsea are in some dark times right now, but football always gives you hope of something better around the corner.
So it was no surprise to see the Sun do a piece about how Enzo Fernandez leaving this summer (which looks more than possible after his recent comments) could actually end up being a good thing for the Blues.
One of the points they made was that it would allow the Blues to add one of their top attacking targets using the money they get for Enzo. That new target could actually be a better fit than Enzo, who it is sometimes hard to squeeze into a team at the same time as Cole Palmer.
“Chelsea may choose to spend big on a number 10 player to directly replace Fernandez, with the likes of Morgan Rogers or Fermin Lopez being the favourite for that option.”
Fermin looks like a tough target given he’s at his boyhood club and doing really well. Rogers, equally, would be hard given Aston Villa are likely to be in the Champions League.
The agent spending list in the Premier League is out, and Chelsea have topped it again. Ben Jacobs has tried to explain why.
Chelsea are keen on signing a Bundesliga winger this summer, but he may consider other Premier League options preferable.
