Fabio Grosso has named a settled Sassuolo side for Sunday’s early Serie A kick-off against Udinese, who have brought in Nicolo Zaniolo and teenager Matteo Palma for his Serie A debut.
The hosts have won just once in the league since their promotion at the end of last season, and are coming in off the back of a 3-0 defeat by Como in the Coppa Italia in midweek.
Despite losing to Milan in Serie A last week, Udinese have the better league record of the two sides, with seven points picked up from their opening four matches of the season. Kosta Runjaic’s side also beat Palermo 2-1 in the Coppa Italia earlier this week.

Fabio Grosso has made just one change to the side that lost 2-1 to Inter last weekend, bringing in the returning Stephan Walukiewicz in place of Woyo Coulibaly. Domenico Berardi and Armand Lauriente will support Andrea Pinamonti in attack.
Udinese, who were beaten 3-0 by Milan last time out in Serie A, have made four changes, bringing in teenager Matteo Palma for his debut, as well as Alessandro Zanoli, Jakub Piotrowski and Nicolo Zaniolo.
Kick-off is due at 11.30 BST.
