The games are coming thick and fast, none more so than the end of the short month that is February stretching into the start of March.
After Monday night’s Scottish Cup quarter-final draw paired us with theRangers at Ibrox we know face a tough hectic period that will see us cram six games into eighteen days, which includes a double header against VfB Stuttgart in the Europa League play offs, as well as a home clash with Hibs, before the first ten days of March sees us pencilled in for two trips to Ibrox with the re-arranged trip to Pittodrie sandwiched in between.

That’s six massive games in just under three weeks. Games that will test not only test us mentally, but in a physically capacity as well.
It’s also a run of fixtures that could make or break our season, but it’s not ones we should be fearing, quite the opposite, we should be relishing the fact we have such an exciting set of fixtures on the horizon, and ones we can head into with great optimism. That’s what football is about after all.

Despite Celtic’s flat performance against Dundee on Saturday evening in the Scottish Cup Fifth Round, we have two upcoming league fixtures at home to Livingston and away to Kilmarnock, and we have the added benefit of new blood in the squad as well as the return of a few familiar faces.
Hearts secured all three points with the only goal of the Edinburgh Derby coming in the closing stages. That takes them NINE points ahead of Celtic but we have two games in hand. There is no margin for error and Celtic must beat Livingston and Kilmarnock this week, see what happens at Fir Park this evening when Motherwell take on theRangers before the latest Ibrox club hosts Hearts on Sunday afternoon.
Celtic play twice before Hearts kick-off at Ibrox on Sunday in the later kick-off. So we must get these six points against Livingston and Kilmarnock at Rugby Park to close the gap to three points on the leaders then sit back and watch what happens at Ibrox.
These games could really shape the title race for the business end. For Celtic it’s simply – just keep on winning. No points can be dropped. Our margin for error has gone. Win, win again and keep winning. That’s what we must do. Starting tonight.

The Celtic support must also be at our absolute best, we have a title to roar for. It’s disappointing that we go into this game without interim Celtic Chairman Brian Wilson stepping up to meet the supporters groups (as far as we know) and failing to contact the Celtic Fans Collective at all.
Read the room Mr Wilson, look at the run of crucial fixtures that the team is facing. Lift the bans and get everyone singing from the same hymn sheet – quite literally – from here on in.
