Sunderland visit Everton on Sunday afternoon for their final away game of the Premier League season, their first league outing at the Hill Dickinson Stadium.

They have already played there this season, winning an FA Cup third round shoot-out in January after Robin Roefs excelled for Regis Le Bris’ side. According to Sunderland Echo, Sunderland sit 14th in the division’s away table on 18 points, with Everton on 26.

At home, a 12-game unbeaten run at the Stadium of Light underpinned their early progress. Since Liverpool edged a February win, Fulham, Brighton and Hove Albion and Nottingham Forest have also left SR5 with victories.

Away results have curbed hopes of a European push, and Le Bris’ team head to Merseyside seeking a third win in their last 13 league trips. Notable successes came at Chelsea and with a history-making result at Newcastle United.

Across the league, Arsenal lead the away standings with 35 points, ahead of Manchester City on 32. Chelsea, Manchester United, Tottenham Hotspur and Everton are all on 26, AFC Bournemouth have 25. Nottingham Forest, Liverpool and Aston Villa each have 24, Crystal Palace 23, Brighton and Hove Albion and Brentford 20, with Sunderland next on 18. Newcastle United and West Ham United are on 17, followed by Fulham on 16, Leeds United 15, then Burnley on nine and Wolverhampton Wanderers on five.
