Real Madrid's midweek trip to Liverpool turned into a nightmare, with setbacks unfolding both on and off the pitch. The sting of a narrow defeat in the crucial Champions League clash was only the beginning of the woes for Los Blancos.

The club has now been dealt a significant blow with the confirmation that their key 25-year-old holding midfielder, Aurélien Tchouaméni, has sustained a semitendinosus muscle injury in his left leg. This diagnosis rules Tchouaméni out of action until at least the beginning of December, with his eventual return to the squad entirely dependent on the progress of his rehabilitation.

For the time being, the French international remains under the close supervision of the club's medical team, embarking on the road to recovery. This season, Tchouaméni has been a consistent presence in the lineup, making 15 appearances, though he is yet to contribute a goal or an assist. The Galacticos will now have to navigate a busy schedule without a pivotal player whose contract with the Spanish giants runs until 2028.
