Thiago Silva is keen to relocate his family back to London after deciding to leave Fluminense.
The veteran defender is set to leave the Brazilian side and is eyeing a potential return to the Premier League, where he spent four seasons at Chelsea and made 155 appearances.
Despite turning 41 in September, the defender has been a mainstay for Fluminense and made 46 appearances in all competitions, scoring four goals, in 2025. Last summer, he was also named in the FIFA Club World Cup Team of the Tournament after captaining Fluminense to the semi-finals.
According to Globo, Silva believes he is still capable of performing in the Premier League and could relocate his family back to London, where his children still play for the Chelsea academy.
It remains to be seen whether any English side offers the centre-back a short-term deal, but his experience and leadership could be viewed as a good addition in January.
There are currently seven London clubs in the Premier League; Arsenal, Chelsea, Tottenham Hotspur, West Ham, Fulham, Crystal Palace and Brentford.
