In a recent report, Fichajes claimed that Tottenham Hotspur want to land Manchester City winger Savinho in January. It is believed that Spurs are planning a big move to bring the Brazilian wide player to North London next year.
Savio had a decent campaign at the Mancunian club as he put in a string of impressive displays for them in the final third. The Brazilian wing wizard was involved in 48 matches for Man City last season, scoring three times and earning 13 assists on all fronts.
The 21-year-old managed to shine at times in the opposition half after he averaged 2.80 shots per 90 minutes in the Premier League. He kept 38.2% of his attempts on target. Savio was also careful when distributing the ball, as evidenced by his pass completion rate of 80.8% in top-flight football (stats via fbref.com).
His current contract at the Etihad Stadium will run out in the summer of 2029. Thus, Spurs would have to make a convincing offer if they want to recruit the Brazilian talent next year.

Savio can use his pace and dribbling ability to cause a lot of headaches for his marker out on the flanks. He has got the eye to play a few decisive passes on the offensive end of the field and can strike the ball with venom from long range.
The Brazilian sensation can even chip in by scoring and creating his fair share of goals up top. He mainly operates as a right-winger but can also play a left-sided wide player or as an attacking midfielder if needed.
Savio would no doubt enhance the quality of Tottenham head coach Thomas Frank’s frontline. He is good enough to secure a regular starting spot at the North London club.
At 21, Savio is destined to have a bright future in English football. Therefore, Frank would be wise to move in for him when the transfer reopens this winter or at the end of this campaign. He already knows the Premier League well and is well-equipped to make an immediate impact at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium if Spurs manage to sign him next year.
