Speaking exclusively to The Celtic Star, the Celtic FC Women manager said: “Saoirse will probably be back in the squad so that’s very good news for us.”
After missing out on the last four matchday squads through injury, Noonan was spotted in training before the Hibs game. Although she wasn’t ready to be utilised in that fixture, she seems to have now made her full return and will be ready to net more goals for the Celts.
Sadiku spoke after her side’s 1-1 draw to Hibs last weekend about her striking options, and expressed disappointment with the fact most of her out and out strikers were unavailable. It’s safe to say that the manager will be delighted to have Noonan back this afternoon for the 1pm kick-off up at Links Park.

The head coach also gave an update on attacking midfielder Shannon McGregor, who has been out for the entirety of the campaign thus far.
Sadiku said: “She is not one of the players [who are back in training]. [Emma] Westin and McGregor are the players who are in the gym right now.”
She also said that while other injured players are training with the team, they still have “some weeks to go” before they are ready for their return to action.
Celtic travel to play Montrose at Links Park. You can purchase your tickets here, priced at £10 for an adult and £8 for a concession.
