Wolves have unveiled their 2026/27 home kit to mark the club’s 150th anniversary. Rob Edwards’ side will play in the Championship next season after relegation.

According to ExpressAndStar.com, supporters worked with manufacturer SUDU to settle a long-running debate over the shade of gold. At a consultation evening, club historian Peter Crump presented three historic options for a vote.

Fans chose between the rusty brown gold of the 1930s to 1950s, the orangey gold of the 1970s to 1990s, and the brighter recent shade. Nearly 10,000 supporters voted on the Wolves app, with orangey gold winning 47 per cent.

Crump said the winning hue is tightly bound to some of Wolves’ greatest years and resonates across generations.

The Wolverhampton city coat of arms replaces the club badge on the shirt for the first time in more than 30 years. It last appeared between 1993 and 1996 and featured on the 1960 FA Cup final-winning shirt.

A percentage from every home shirt sold will be donated to the Wolves Foundation. The adult pro shirt costs £80, the standard adult £60, and junior £45. The new home kit goes on sale from nine am online and 10am in the club store on Friday, 5 June.
