£100m super talent could now join Liverpool

Liverpool are in the market for a winger and a €100m super talent is firmly on their radar. He could be next.

Liverpool must replace Mohamed Salah. Now, that doesn't necessarily mean signing an elite right-winger to replace his attacking output - though, that would be the simplest option.

Or at least, it would be if the market on the right was genuinely appalling. It's a situation that has them in talks with Paris Saint-Germain for Bradley Barcola.

Barcola typically plays from the left, though he boasts the kind of goalscoring and creativity that might come close to replacing Salah. Liverpool would just need to reshuffle their team a bit.

Not that signing Barcola is straightforward. It's actually remarkably not as PSG want record-breaking amounts to get a deal done. the latest report, from L'Equipe, claims they're chasing €150m from Liverpool.

The Reds don't particularly want to pay that and it means they've got to have their eyes on alternatives. One is particularly notable, as journalist Sebastian Vidal is adamant that Liverpool have Rayan on their list.

Rayan joined Bournemouth in January and immediately shone under Andoni Iraola. He was one of the best young wingers in the Premier League - his numbers are among the best in Europe.

The Brazilian thrived, much as he did across 2025 in Brazil. The Athletic also reports that he has a release clause in his contract for around £130m - but only from January.

It seems Liverpool are willing to pay something close to that, though we imagine this would be one they'd wait on. There's little reason not to wait for the release clause as we imagine Bournemouth would quote a price above that figure right now.
