A 17-year-old Moroccan boy travelled hidden beneath Real Valladolid’s team coach on the journey from Ceuta, RadioMarca reports.

The squad had drawn 1-1 at AD Ceuta FC on Sunday, then left the Port of Ceuta at 21:30 for Algeciras by ferry.

After docking, the coach travelled about 100 kilometres, and around an hour after leaving the Port of Algeciras, near Jerez de la Frontera, cries for help from beneath the vehicle alerted the travelling party and the driver stopped.

Only then did staff realise he had crossed from Ceuta to the Iberian Peninsula in the undercarriage, positioned between a wheel axle and the chassis.

Cope adds that even Guardia Civil dogs did not detect him before boarding in Ceuta.
