Fulham have had a fantastic season, with Marco Silva’s men winning promotion back to the Premier League at the first attempt.

The next aim will be to win the title, but realistically the hard work has been done, with the Portuguese coach producing a stylish team that has to be considered one of the best we’ve seen at this level in recent years.

Despite that, the Cottagers know more than most how big the step up to the top-flight is, having suffered a few tough relegations in the past.

Therefore, as always, recruitment will be key, and here we look at TWO changes we could see at Fulham this summer…

A new keeper arrives

You have to feel sorry for Marek Rodak who helped Fulham to promotion before only to lose his place – and the same could happen again.

Whilst the 25-year-old is a good keeper, there has been talk that the Londoners could bring back Alphonse Areola and few would argue that he isn’t a clear upgrade.

We know how important the number one is to a newly-promoted side, so if Fulham can do a deal for someone of Areola’s calibre then it could spell the end of Rodak’s time at Craven Cottage, as he has confirmed he could depart if he isn’t first choice.

A centre-back is brought in

Silva has to find the right balance in terms of sticking with the players that have got them up and ensuring they have enough quality brought in to compete.

So, like Rodak, another key player from this season who could be vulnerable is Tim Ream. The classy American has enjoyed a brilliant individual campaign but there will be doubts over his capabilities in the Premier League.
