SunSport reports that Wilson Isidor is ready to leave Sunderland after five months without a Premier League start, with the 25-year-old exploring options away from the Stadium of Light and the club not expected to block a summer exit if suitable offers arrive.

Isidor helped win promotion last season and began this campaign as a key figure under Régis Le Bris. His minutes have dwindled since his last league start in early December, with Brian Brobbey preferred through the middle.

The report said Sunderland rejected bids last summer but were willing to sell in January, although a £25 million valuation deterred buyers. Everton and Nottingham Forest were among clubs said to have enquired about permanent deals, while Crystal Palace and Burnley looked at late loan options before the window closed.

Sunderland may now have to lower that price to sanction a summer departure for the out-of-favour forward. Isidor is under contract until 2028 and was offered an extension earlier in the season during a strong run of form, but no agreement was reached.

Despite reduced involvement, he has scored five Premier League goals and is said to have the best minutes-per-goal ratio in the squad. He had hoped to revive his campaign in the second half of the season, but has largely remained on the bench.

Sunderland sit 12th with three matches left, against Manchester United, Everton and Chelsea, and retain an outside chance of European football. Isidor’s situation now looks set to be a major talking point heading into the summer window.
