A Roca modernises Louis-II stadium catering with revamped kiosks in Monaco | OneFootball

A Roca has become the sole caterer at Monaco’s Stade Louis-II, modernising matchday kiosks as part of a wider overhaul.

According to Nice-Matin, A Roca took over in August 2025. The stadium refurbishment, due to finish in May 2027 for the Games of the Small States of Europe, includes kiosk upgrades, with eight open, five refurbished or new and two still in work. Ultimately all eight will be new and permanently open.

New equipment, from heated display cases and chilled drinks units to rapid snack ovens, is designed to speed service and improve flow.

On AS Monaco matchdays they may need to serve up to 11,500 people within 15 minutes, so performance and capacity are vital.

Pre-match data sets expected footfall per kiosk, allowing tailored staffing from a pool of around 60, typically 36 on duty and up to eight per kiosk, mixing experienced leads and Monaco students.

Menu highlights include hot dogs, increasingly popular barbagiuans, tomato and mozzarella focaccia and a ham and cheese sandwich, priced between five and eight euros, plus quick-serve nachos.

Food is produced at A Roca’s Fontvieille kitchen and delivered an hour before gates open, with everything homemade except the hot dog, and refined ratios limiting waste and shortages, though individual items can sell out.

Drinks are alcohol-free beer, mineral water and soft drinks, and the firm hopes to add reusable ecocups once a local washer is found.

Its Louis-II deal runs until early summer 2028, and the caterer hopes to extend after significant investment.
