Abde ruled out of Betis opener against Real Sociedad | OneFootball

Abde has been left out of Betis’s La Liga opener against Real Sociedad at La Cartuja, the winger still short of full fitness after a knee issue. As reported by AS, Manuel Pellegrini confirmed his omission in the squad list for the game.

Although Abde trained with the group across several sessions, he does not feel sufficiently confident and Betis have chosen not to push him in order to avoid further problems.

Lo Celso’s absence is no surprise. The player whose situation led Betis to postpone their first league fixture, compressing their calendar, has not made this second round of matches either. Aitor Ruibal, Diego Conde and Petit are also out.

Pablo García is included despite intense exit rumours, with Pellegrini waiting for anything to become official before acting. Bellerín is available after recovering from the ankle sprain suffered in the final pre-season friendly.
