AC Milan is eager to secure Mike Maignan for the long term and is preparing a new contract offer, according to Gazzetta dello Sport.

The club is offering a multi-year deal with a base salary of €5 million net, plus bonuses, which would make Maignan the highest-paid player on the team after Rafael Leão. Currently, the goalkeeper’s camp is demanding €8 million net per year, up from his current €2.8 million.

The current contract expires in six months, leaving both parties with time to reach an agreement. Names like Alisson Becker (Liverpool) have already been mentioned as potential successors.
