Central defender Achraf Dari will temporarily leave Al Ahly SC to join Malmö FF. The deal is a loan until the end of the season, according to multiple sources.
Al Ahly, having settled the player’s overdue wages, made it impossible to terminate his contract. Sidelined from the squad to free up a roster spot, Dari was looking for a solution to get more playing time.
The Moroccan international has played 26 matches with the Egyptian club. Before that, he featured for Wydad Casablanca, then moved to Europe with Stade Brestois 29 and Royal Charleroi SC. This loan spell in Sweden is a chance for the defender to reignite his career and regain his rhythm.
