Third round ties are scheduled across the weeks commencing September seven and 14. With Champions League fixtures in the first week and Bournemouth’s first Europa League game in the second, the Lincoln tie is due in the week beginning September seven.

Bournemouth have exited this competition in the second round in each of the past two seasons, following consecutive fourth round eliminations. Last term they lost 2-0 to Brentford at the Vitality Stadium, with Fabio Carvalho and Igor Thiago scoring in either half.
