AFC Bournemouth to host in Carabao Cup third round | OneFootball

Bournemouth Echo reports that the Cherries were one of eight teams involved in a pre-draw because of their Europa League commitments. That process confirmed home advantage and kept Champions League and Europa League clubs apart.

The third round will be staged across two weeks, in the weeks beginning September seven and 14.

Champions League fixtures fall in the first of those weeks, with Europa League matches in the second.

The eight European entrants will learn their opponents from the first eight teams drawn in the main draw at around 10.15pm, after the conclusion of Preston North End vs Everton.
